Minehead - The West Somerset Railway Index Page

On Saturday 30th June 2007 I arrived in Minehead for my annual holiday.  The selfcatering flat I was staying in was about a 5 - 6 minute walk away from
Minehead Station.  Ah! Heaven!  However, I had been in touch with the railway by e-mail regardin a photographers permit.  Unlike a couple of other heritage railways
I could name, I received a prompt response from Mr John Simms.  John was very friendly and helpful, and I am using this page to offer my thanks to him.  Thanks John.
One problem I thought I had overcome was the one of wind noise on the soundtracks.  Although I was using an external mike with a windsock on, wnd noise is very prevalent on most of these videos, and I apologise for that.  Something else for me to sort before the next videos get taken!
